Artist Introduction:
A fervent prayer for the evangelization of China, the cultural Christianization, and the kingdomization of the church, along with testimonies and sharing from contemporary Chinese artists.
Artists Profile:
Dao Zi: Professor of Art History and Theory at Qinghua University, poet, artist, and art critic. He has received the Hellman/Hammett Grand Poetry Award from Human Rights Watch and the Misereor Social Development Foundation's Blue Art Creation Award in Germany.
Wei Lin: Graduated from the Police Arts Department of Xi'an Educational Institute. After being baptized and returning to the Lord in 2000, he opened his home to host a church. He leads the ministry of the Beijing Songzhuang Christian Church and continues to develop his mission as an artist in Beijing Songzhuang.
Jiuyang Zhu: Graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. He participated in the first Xi'an Youth Sculpture Exhibition and won first prize. In 2004, he turned to Jesus, and afterward, he served in the church and dedicated himself to faith-inspired artistic creation.
Zhang Hongying: Born into a family of four generations of Christian grace, Zhang Hongying was called to become a disciple of Christ in 1999. Through spiritual literature, painting, sacred music, and gospel film art, she leads people to God. In 2006, she produced the thematic concert "Sacred Music Worship in Beijing" and went on tour. In 2007, she produced the symphonic choir concert "Ran Song," which toured the U.S. in 2016. In 2018, she produced the Contemporary Christian Art Exhibition (New York). She holds a Bachelor's degree from Tianjin Conservatory of Music and a Master's degree from New York Faith Theological Seminary.
